Privacy

Sourcing Stewards is a small non-profit, and we've built the site to collect as little about you as possible.

What we don't collect

No accounts, passwords, CVs or applications. You can browse, filter and apply for jobs without telling us anything about yourself. We don't use outside analytics or advertising trackers, and we never sell or share anyone's data.

Job digest and newsletter, if you ask for them

If you subscribe, we keep your email address, your first name and the job preferences you picked. That's all. We don't build a profile or track what you open or click.

We use it to send you a weekly email with matching jobs and the occasional update about our work. That's the only thing you've signed up for, and we don't use your address for anything else. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by clicking the link in the confirmation email. We don't send anything until you've clicked it. Emails are sent through Resend, who handle them on our behalf.

Every email has a link to change your preferences, unsubscribe, or delete your details completely. You don't need to email anyone or explain why. Deleting removes your address and everything linked to it for good. We only keep your details for as long as you want to hear from us.

Coaching waitlist, if you join it

If you join the waitlist for 1-1 coaching we store what you tell us on the form: your name and email, and anything optional you choose to add, such as where you're based, your LinkedIn, your current role, who pays your salary, your pay, what you're aiming at and how you heard about us.

We use it to plan the coaching and decide who to speak to first. If you give your current pay, we use it for one thing: measuring whether the programme makes a difference, by comparing it with a short survey later on, and only if you ticked the box saying we can follow up. It is never shown to anyone outside Sourcing Stewards, and never shared or sold. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. To see, correct or delete what we hold, email us and we'll do it.

What we do collect

We count page views and clicks on Apply buttons so we know which jobs people find useful. These counts are anonymous. They record that a page was viewed and when, with nothing that could link it to you.

We also record which country a visit came from. Our hosting provider works that out, and we never receive, store or log your IP address. A country on its own can't identify anyone.

If you clicked Apply and later come back to that job, we might ask whether you applied and whether our advice helped. You don't have to answer, and your answers are stored without anything that identifies you. Your own browser remembers that we've asked, not our servers.

What your browser stores

We don't set cookies for visitors. Your browser keeps a few small notes for this site, and they never leave your device:

• when you last visited, so we can show how many jobs are new since then
• any jobs you've saved, if you use the heart
• whether you've signed up or closed the email box, so we don't keep asking
• which jobs you clicked Apply on, so we can ask later whether you applied

When you use one of our forms, Cloudflare Turnstile checks you're a person rather than a bot. It doesn't set cookies, and we only get back a pass or a fail. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes everything above.

Applying for jobs

You apply on the employer's own site. Once you click Apply, you're on their site and their privacy policy applies, not ours.
