About the role
Kinisla is recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator for its Ossett site to ensure ingredients and packaging materials are available to support production. The role involves coordinating the ordering and delivery of ingredients, managing supplier schedules and packaging call-offs, and monitoring inventory levels to balance product availability against stockholding and cost targets. The postholder works closely with suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams to support efficient supply chain operations and to help meet customer service targets through effective supply planning and coordination. A significant part of the role covers import and export activity: ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements, assisting with customs clearance processes, and resolving customs-related issues. The coordinator is also expected to identify and communicate supply chain risks or disruptions, support corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance and efficiency. Essential requirements include experience in material planning, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or manufacturing, and/or experience in customs, logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or international trade administration. Candidates should understand import/export documentation and have familiarity with MRP and ERP systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Microsoft Excel proficiency, excellent communication and supplier management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English are required.
